Hi All,
Meetings meetings meetings. Pushing really hard and having incredibly
positive meetings every week. It is great to share our plans with so
many fascinating people who all get so excited about the whole concept
- the 100 years since Scott, the putting the record straight on
Scott's leadership ability, the chosen "British" Beardmore route, the
logistics, the team, the documentary and the foundation! We have an
amazing team around us to help our journey - sales, PR, the filming,
logistics, and a far bigger team of supporters and well wishers. Our
network of potential sponsors and suppliers is constantly growing both
in numbers and quality - it really is incredibly exciting. I am
looking forward to hitting the ice so much, and more than that, I am
genuinely impassioned about the potential for sharing the journey to
the benefit of so many through our Foundation!

Life at the break of the day

Wow! I was up this morning at 5:30am pulling tyres around the sea wall and it was glorious! The sun wasn't yet over the horizon so the clouds were a glorious golden hue that reflected brilliant colours off the sea, the Isle of Wight was shrouded in mist and I had only a yacht under full sail for company.
